SMS alerting in the event of vehicle fire outside operating hours
The Challenge
Fire protection outside operating hours
At depots, yards, and vehicle halls, vehicles are often left unattended for many hours outside operating times. If a fire breaks out during this time — for example due to a technical fault or overheating equipment such as radio chargers in fire engines — there is no immediate notification to staff or emergency responders without automatic remote alerting. This risk is especially high when vehicles are parked close together, where a fire can quickly spread to neighboring vehicles or nearby buildings. Every minute lost in this window reduces the chance of a fast, effective response.
The Solution
Automatic remote alerting in the event of fire
Our system closes this safety gap with autonomous remote alerting. It operates independently of existing vehicle systems, requires no deep integration into the vehicle's onboard electronics, and can be installed in addition to existing fire detection or suppression systems already in place.
When the fire detector monitoring loop detects a fire, an automatic alert chain is triggered within seconds. The alert can be sent via SMS, email, app, or control center to defined recipients — allowing responsible parties to react early and take appropriate action before a fire spreads to other vehicles or surrounding buildings.
