Fire Detection Unit and Suppression System Control Display for Vehicles
The AF400 is a compact fire detection unit for visual and audible signaling of fire, smoke, and CO events in mobile applications. Mounted in the driver's cab, it continuously monitors one or more detection circuits and triggers an alarm immediately and reliably whenever a safety-relevant event occurs.
Depending on configuration, the AF400 can also directly control a suppression system. This significantly increases operational safety: occupants are warned in time, vehicles are protected, and consequential damage as well as unplanned downtime are reduced.

Yes. Depending on configuration, the AF400 also directly controls suppression actuators such as solenoid valves or aerosol generators, in addition to fire detection.
The AF400 is designed for line and coach buses, commercial vehicles, truck trailers, fleet vehicles, tunnel vehicles, dangerous goods transporters, emergency and special-purpose vehicles, and marine applications.
Variants are available for both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems.
Mounting is done via two rear-mounted threaded bolts (M4 x 0.7) inside the vehicle or driver's cab, with connection via a SuperSeal connector.
